About F&B Therapy Courses
F&B Therapy consists of two sole trader therapists: Faye and Becki. They are both BABCP registered and accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapists who have worked together with their knowledge and experience to put together bespoke courses.
These courses aim to support people struggling with their mental health, though they are not replacements for 1:1 therapy.
They aim to act as self-help resources for those who feel motivated to complete the courses independently.
They aim to teach valuable life skills which when understood and applied can have a positive impact on a persons wellbeing.
Add-on packages are available for email support whilst completing an F&B course, and this shall be purely to support with the content of the course, not to discuss other therapeutic issues. These will also be limited as stated and any extra support must be sought through therapy sessions.
How does an online course work and how do I pay?
Our courses are self-paced purchased via our website. Following purchase, you’ll have access to a downloadable link where you can access the content of the course via Google Docs.
The cost of each course is as stated on our website at the time of purchase, and all payments are processed securely through Stripe. You are responsible for reviewing Stripe’s terms and conditions and privacy policy before making a payment, as you will be bound by their terms. The purchase of the course is a one-off payment which entitles you to access for the lifetime of the product . From time to time, we may offer discounts or promotional codes for our content. These discounts are subject to the terms stated at the time of promotion and cannot be applied retroactively to previous purchases.
Refund policy
Access to courses and all related materials begins as soon as payment is received. These materials constitute digital products under consumer legislation.
By purchasing, you expressly waive your right to the 14-day cooling-off period typically available under consumer legislation. This waiver is necessary because you gain immediate access to my intellectual property, which cannot be returned.
This means:
- Once you make payment and access the Course, no refunds will be issued.
- You cannot cancel the Course partway through and request a refund for any payments made.
- All sales are final.
Disclaimers
While courses offer guidance, resources and tools, it’s important to remember that your progress and outcomes are ultimately your own responsibility. Your success depends on your commitment, active participation, and implementation of the strategies and techniques shared.
Everyone’s journey is unique, and individual results may vary. The strategies and techniques shared in courses are intended to be helpful, but we cannot guarantee specific outcomes.
By buying and accessing, you acknowledge and agree that no information delivered during each course is considered psychotherapy or counselling. Courses can be accessed alongside psychotherapy or counselling, but are not a replacement for professional therapy, medical advice, or diagnosis. It is important to seek appropriate professional help immediately if you are experiencing emotional distress, mental health issues, or challenging life circumstances, including suicidal ideations.
While we take reasonable steps to ensure the information in courses are evidence-based, we can’t guarantee it, and so you act on the information it contains at your own risk. We also strive to ensure the accuracy and quality of all course content, but we cannot guarantee that all information is error-free or up to date.
Eligibility / Suitability
As adult therapists, we do not work with any individual under 18 years old, therefore, this is the suggested age for our courses. However, if you choose to purchase and you are under 18, we suggest you speak with an adult or guardian for advice as to whether this course is suitable for you and where possible, work through it with an adult.
Online courses are not suitable for individuals currently in crisis, experiencing severe mental health symptoms or requiring immediate support. We would also suggest you consider whether the content of the chosen course is suitable for your circumstances, for example, our boundaries course is not suitable for anyone in a current abusive relationship and more appropriate support should be sought from a domestic abuse service. You take final responsibility for any chosen purchases.
Right to Remove or Change Content
We have a right to remove or change content at any time. Any updated content does not entitle the customer to any 1:1 support or updated resources unless separately purchased.
Email support
If you choose to purchase additional email support as part of your package, please note the email communication will be limited to the subject matter outlined in the course and is not an open therapy session. Therapists will aim to respond within 5 working days but this can’t always be guaranteed due to working patterns. All communication should be respectful and appropriate and therapists have the right to suspend email communication at any time should this not feel appropriate.
This is not an emergency service and appropriate support should be sought in the UK by dialing NHS 111 and ‘option 2’ for mental health support should you need something more immediate.
