Is text therapy for me?

At F&B Digital Therapy, we believe that text therapy has many benefits.

Text therapy may be preferred by those with conditions such as Autism, ADHD, dyspraxia etc. Like many others who are neurodivergent, you might feel its easier for you to talk to your therapist this way. It gives an alternative to accessing support and embraces neurodiversity overall.

This may also be called typed therapy or messaging therapy.

What do i Need for text therapy sessions?

 – A proficient typing speed

 – Preferably, a computer or laptop, though not essential. 

Is text therapy for me?

– You find it easier to process written information.

– You would like more time to reflect and think about your responses in therapy.

– You get overwhelmed, distracted or exhausted face to face.

– You are comfortable and proficient in writing your own thoughts.
