In case you were wondering, here’s a little bit more about us

Hi from Faye!

I always knew I wanted to do something to help people, but it wasn’t until 2015 when I started working in mental health that I found my calling. I had previously studied Criminology and Sociology at degree level, and later Psychology. I have worked in local NHS funded services for 8 years, providing assessments for therapy, and later trained to deliver Low Intensity, and then High Intensity CBT.

I love watching people reflect and make changes to their lives for the better and particularly enjoy self-esteem work. I have an interest in creative writing and believe writing can be a great therapeutic tool. I have always felt I can express myself easier in written form and typing therapy can be a great tool for others who feel the same  to engage in a way that suits them. In my free time, I’m a sucker for a true crime documentary, a good book (or 3 at once!) and a cup of tea. I live by the sea with my husband and cat.

Hi from becki!

From being a teenager, it always confused me why mental health never seemed to be as important as physical health in society. This lead to psychology and mental health becoming my passion as I focused my studies on these, with a BSc in Psychology and MSc in Clinical Psychology. I’ve worked in an NHS funded therapy service for 8 years where I trained in both Low and High Intensity CBT.

Being a late diagnosed ADHDer myself, I know how lacking energy, confidence and the ability to safely be yourself feels. This diagnosis was the last piece of the puzzle for me, and allowed me to fully accept myself and embrace my strengths. This is why working together with people to untangle their problems, learning how to grow and move on from them, is super rewarding for me. You deserve to celebrate you in all your uniqueness – and I know how life changing this can be!

Outside of therapy, my hobbies and interests tend to be intense and diverse! Here’s some facts about me:

  • I also run a digital art business.
  • Music is really important to me – listening, singing and learning all kinds of instruments!
  • For me, playing video games is a part of my self-care.
  • I’ve always loved animals, and my pets mean everything to me. My dog Rocket and my cat Fuji even sometimes make appearances in online sessions!

Our Logo

We designed our logo with inspiration from trees.

Trees lose their leaves every year and get battered in all kinds of weathers. But they always grow back again.

Just like the resilience of an individual mind, with the right tools and environment, they’re always capable of blossoming.

this is combined with our love for helping untangle the issues of a complex mind!
